Congratulations to our 2019 Log a Load for Kids Volunteer Champion Winner, Jay Wolfe

The Tennessee Forestry Association and Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital are proud to announce that Jay Wolfe has been selected as the winner of the “2019 Log a Load for Kids Foundation Volunteer Champion Award.”

Each year one Log a Load volunteer is selected as the “Volunteer of the Year.” The award recognizes those individuals that give their time and passion to help children in need. Since 1998, Jay has tirelessly organized an extremely successful golf tournament in Southwest Tennessee to support Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital through the Log a Load for Kids program.

Jay and others who help him organize this annual tournament have raised funds in excess of over $525,000 for Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.

Jay’s commitment and dedication extends further than organizing the annual golf tournament. Jay communicates with parents whose children are patients, visits with kids being treated at Le Bonheur and helps to keep patients and their families in good spirits.

Congratulations to Jay. He has an incredibly giving heart, and we are so fortunate that he shares his love and passion for helping others with Le Bonheur.
